Atomic Habits is the first self-help book I've ever read; therefore, I can vouch that reading this is a great place to start, especially if you're new to habit-forming strategies. Most of the tips provided are considered common knowledge (and I feel like it gets repetitive at some point). Yes, you might have done some of them in the past unconsciously - but this should not stop you from reading the book. What fascinated me about the book is how the author explained each tip with great detail and practical examples. He even provided experiments to explain the "science" behind the tips. What also kept me entertained reading the book was how I was able to apply and somehow relate each of them with a habit I'm trying to get accustomed to - exercising. Overall, this book would be helpful (albeit some tips are common) because it ensures that the tips will be ingrained in your head.
