This movie is a beautiful tale of love, loss and the desperation of man. The dog being murdered represents human's disregard for life, and the dog returning in the form of a criminal shows nature way of exacting it's revenge upon mankind.
My favourite actor, Nichol Simmons starred in this movie, increasing it's appeal immensely to people of my demographic.
I personally only recommend this movie if you have studied english at a tertiary level, in order to truly grasp the complex syecdoches, allegories and high modality language, extenuation the beautiful literary techniques present in the script.
Overall, I highly recommend that you watch this movie as it was a truly enlightening and humbling experience. I want to extend my greatest respects to the genious that is 'Dog Gone' (2003).
