Minority Report
I don't think the end of Season 4 was a very good tragedy. The noble one was brought low, one might say through some kind of overconfidence, but certainly not pride. And the nemesis was that lame dramatic device, the Deus-ex-Machina, a "god from a machine" who just shows up out of nowhere for no reason connected to the story -- and in this story there's not even a vengeful Olympian, and the heavenly chariot is a fire truck..
And so to Season 5. The Pathos abides. Up to the end of Episode 4 >> SPOILER ALERT << it's not a very good soap opera either. Plenty of weeping, but surely the predicaments would be considered cliché on daytime TV. And the detective story can barely get a scene in edgewise.
