It’s easy to like this movie because of the original characters and all the scenes that are already familiar from the first, but this movie feels like it’s been dumbed down, too stupid for adult writers to actually put out there and think it’s as moving as the first one. Yes, children are watching this movie but that’s not different than the one before it that was actually heartfelt and fun too,yet they introduced meaningless brain dead characters like pouchy?? he was never in the first, now all of a sudden here he is making the movie almost feel like there was no depth to it and they just threw it in like it’s really hard to tell what the point was exactly. Then the thing about the anxiety. Everyone has experienced it yet they made it seem as if it can just be a back seat thing, something to put aside but no you can’t even when you try. They never even went into depth about Riley growing as a teen girl. Just hockey like thank you so much disney now I really feel like I need to go back to school because this movie sucked the intelligence out of me. Don’t get me started on that line as well about how happiness fades as you get older? cmon now like this is children as your audience. They can’t even do a genuine relatable sad scene right but that line is pushing it. you went past sad and went straight to tragic.
