I watched the anime back in the day. It was fun and nothing really expected other than entertaining. I feel the Netflix live-version to be the same and am glad it did not completely follow the anime. Like the remake of Star Trek where timelines changed allowing for a fresher storyline, the same with CB. I thoroughly enjoyed the job and am saddened that its been cancelled. Having slight differences made the live-action version refreshing and allowed for different storylines to develop. I hope Netflix realizes it has a great base and did a great job with CB, allowing for season 2 to go ahead. I didn't fully understand some of the anime but the live-action version was actually much clearer.
