Deslene Prins

As a South African I was excited to see Cape Town on display, but this movie sucked the life out of what could have been something amazing. There are so many plot holes with no introduction of any of the characters or their backstories. The acting was also very shallow. All the main characters spoke with a fake American accent that genuinely started to work on my nerves. There was no distinct South African storylines or African essence in this movie. It’s sad because it could have been a great movie if it were properly executed. Watch if you want something to play in the background, but skip it if you’re genuinely looking to be entertained.
