I recently read Ikigai, and I must say, it left much to be desired. The book was heavily overhyped, promising deep insights and valuable information, but it fell flat on delivery. The content was surface-level at best, barely scratching the surface of the subjects it claimed to explore.
The entire book could have been condensed into a five-page pamphlet, as it was filled with repetitive and unnecessary fluff. It felt like the author was more interested in filling pages than providing meaningful content. Overall, it was a bunch of nonsense with little to offer.
I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone looking for substantial information or a worthwhile read. Save your time and money for something more deserving.
