Has its moments but pretty mediocre to average MCU fare. For one thing, Renner and Steinfeld just don’t have much to work with here. The series seems very muddled and bogged down, disjointed, inconsistent, contrived, and at times forced. They should have actually focused more in depth on Hawkeye as opposed to using the series as a vehicle to shove more MCU heroes down our throats. It also seems like I am watching Disney holiday special when the tone should have been more dark and gritty. Out of the four Disney+ MCU series, this one is the weakest.
