A joy to watch this old favourite again.
Excellent pacing, starting out in a calm manner, taking in some stunning scenery, and beginning to get a taste of the multiple characters who are working in the Alaskan wilderness.
The scene near the beginning with the husky running through the snow and the subsequent scenes after set the film up well.
The acting is of good quality, and in this watch, reminded me of the acting in Apocolypse Now, kind of natural and realistic, with some cool tracks surrounding.
As the film goes deeper and the tension builds, the whole feeling becomes even more claustrophobic, and one classic scene where some chemistry is used to find out who the 'monster' has taken over will make your heart beat fast.
The movie soundtrack is top class.
Definitely a cult-classic, and a stand-out horror to watch on a dark autumn/winter night.
Watch it once and you will probably watch it again.
