City Eternal

<Invasion of the Body Snatchers>(1956) gave me a similarly fresh and sensational feeling as when I watched Romero's <Night of the Living Dead>. No modern day special effects felt like rather a bliss to me. Rushing into the guy's flashback whose testimony at this point we can't decide to believe or not, the stream of events slowly take our breath away as they reveal the truth. Visual image of the pods is powerful enough to shock my eyes that had already had a taste of movies such as <Alien>.

This movie was very informative for me. Feels like now I understand America bit better.

The best among his very early works. <Play it again, Sam> is where you can see that Woody figured out the way to make his humor work through movie. From this movie forward, he started making a line movies loaded with sharper wits. Most of them toyed with visualization of things in a delightful way before his film-making culminated in <Annie Hall>.

I would go out on a limb to say, 'KS' did even a better job than 'Annie Hall' at least in terms of making the story open and alive. It feels like a very amusing segment of a bigger and greater storyline.
