Absolutely loved it. The acting, the writing and the message. I’m sorry some thought it depressing. It seemed true to life to me in that a loss of dignity and severe limitations justified his brave choice. Also love that he loved her enough to give her an independent future with support for living boldly and pushing herself to make the most of her life. We didn’t see all he experienced so it makes it hard to understand his choice to die. It crossed class lines in a charming and almost believable way. I’m not convinced it would really happen that way but the story worked for me.
