I don’t understand the hate this game gets. I’ve not been a PS gamer for a long time but I bought a PS5 to play some of the last-gen exclusives that I missed - God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted etc. Days Gone is my favourite by far and I don’t even like zombie games / movies. The character writing is amazing along with a very nice open world, albeit a little empty in parts, but then it is supposed to be post apocalyptic. For me this comes close to RDR2 and I do prefer it to Ghost of Tsushima. Also worth mentioning, it’s not a horror game it’s more an action RPG. (Apart from the training mission at the start). Thinking it was in the jump scare, horror genre I almost didn’t bother with it. So glad I did!!
