Elvis was inimitable. While it was a valiant attempt to capture the King, it lacked Elvis’ natural movement & rhythm. Tom Hanks, who I view a terrific actor, was terrible as Col. Parker. The actress playing Priscilla was also miscast. The movie did give substance to just how used Elvis was by those around him. He was deemed a commodity to produce for their needs. Also, I did not appreciate the political spin which the movie used to surround Elvis’ rise to fame. Save your money.
