Added to 'My Favorites'. During the first episodes, I felt uncomfortable and weird while watching the series. I have always been watching romance, action, or fantasy genres when it comes to Korean Dramas. I always avoid series/movies that have 'melodrama' indicated as its genre. I watched a few but I feel like it's once or twice a year because I can't handle the sadness I'll feel after the series, especially if it has sad endings. Thankfully this one has a happy ending. If you need a good cry, I recommend this one. This one is more likely realistic. I picked up quite a few lessons in life actually. I felt refreshed after watching the whole series but I must say this series is not for all. There are just a lot of trigger warnings. But at the end of it, it has a positive ending, so you just have to sort things out with yourself and do not put into practice [literally] what you've watched.
I usually see these main characters in supporting roles in other dramas, that is why I was a bit taken aback by how great they fitted for having the main roles. Joy had main roles but the improvement of her acting skills was superb. Altogether, the casts were amazing.
OVERALL, IT'S WORTH WATCHING. Half of me is hoping for season 2 so that all the rollercoaster emotions I've felt throughout the series would be able to claim its justice, but the other half is already contented.
EXCELLENT SERIES.
