The series does a great job showing what the quarterbacks go through on and off the field as well as the physical and mental toll it takes. For Kirk Cousins, we learn about him dealing with the stigma of "not being a playoff winner", the family dynamic and being a Midwestern personality as well as getting to know his family and how he is open about his background and how it molded him.
With Marcus Mariota, the story is about a journeyman quarterback who is trying to hang on to his job, how he and his wife are preparing for their first child, losing his job as his wife is ready to deliver and facing an unknown future. Its a great watch to see how the non-star quarterbacks are.
Patrick Mahomes is the star of the show and while him and his wife are very outgoing with each other, you also see the intense workouts and dedication to his craft, the relentless drive to win, and his rise as he really started to help turn the Chiefs into a Dynasty.
Even if you don't follow football passionately, this show is great for getting to see how they live their lives and deal with the intense pressure of football and the business of it.
