Some great nostalgia for us OLDIES who have been in computing a long time.
I may have been looking at an old version of this CD, so maybe I have missed something... other than some basic information in the timelines, I noticed that the glossary and individuals section left out Digital Equipment Corporation and Ken Olson, one of the founders of DEC. This is disappointing as at one time it was the second largest computer companies - second only to IBM with over 120,000 employees worldwide. I know - I was their support rep.
As a devoted employee in the 1980s, it was one of the best companies to work for, and it developed and manufactured technologies that are still in use today. Too bad it was mostly left out of History of Computing.
