SPOILERS i hate to be that person, but honestly. this movie was so cliché and predictable in every way. not to mention the ending!! absolutely insane. not only does he manage to survive this insanely challenging mission, BUT, he survives a plane crash, manages to run an INSANELY far distance to a destroyed plane landing spot, STEAL A PLANE, fly this old plane up and out of this absolutely wrecked flight strip, fly that back, survive a 2v1 dogfight against 2 far more advanced planes, THEN survives a fight with one plane when out of nowhere (like we totally didn’t see this coming) Hangman manages to save him. how did i guess! but not only that, he manages to survive a landing without landing gear, and make it back, and still gets the girl. oh! and not to mention the fact that they both make it out without a single scratch! it was simply unbearable! seriously, i was rolling my eyes the whole time. they should have just left it at the first Top Gun and stopped trying to revamp it and bring new life to it. If anything, this just made it worse!! the only reason i didn’t give this a 1 star rating is the camerawork and flight scenes (very good), and because some scenes previous were okay. just okay. seriously, spare yourself the time and money.
