Hard to believe this movie was produced 25 years ago. In a fictional town we want to exist, two love stories. One ends with “I can’t “, perhaps depending on your age and upbringing, you didn’t either. One ends sweetly in a town we wish existed, but sadly, doesn’t. Still, you feel good in the end, and I think that’s what the director wanted us to feel. I enjoyed the escape from reality, if even for a couple of hours.

Well acted and great storyline. Did it leave me wanting more closure on a few plot lines, absolutely. But it felt real and personal. Like so many young people, they don’t have it figured out, but that’s real life at that age.

Sweet and uplifting movie with a few jolly surprises that keep you engaged and smiling.

Sweet story. It just felt warm and fun to watch. If you’re looking for light fare, it’s a bit charming.

Well acted and played in European detention as I understand it. I thought a very compelling story.

I love both actors and this was an amazing performance by both. Yes, it’s an August/September romance, but well done. I loved it.

An enchanting fairytale. Worth a watch if you ever had a crush on your best friend and dreamt it could be more.
