I just want to say i’m a huge fan of the animation and i watch it every year. I wanted to like the live-action so badly but what netflix did has no room for any redemption. Its like they put it in a blender and this is the outcome. Did they even understand the original show? They made changes for the sake of change which butchered things that made the show what it was. Everything is rushed, out of order and there was no character development and no bonding between them. Things just happened, without logic. They cut out the most deep and integral parts of the show just to add their unnecessary new ideas which were a whole bunch of nothing. I wouldn’t have minded the changes if they were good. And they crammed so much. So disappointing. I couldnt take it after episode 3. Even if anyone finished watching it i cant imagine anyone ever rewatching it. Its torture. I will say that the actor who played Zuko was the only one that put some effort into his acting. The worst was Katara like what are you doing girl??
