One star to water down the fake five star reviews. I’ve read the first 7 books 7 times, I’m a huge H.P. Fan. This game missed huge opportunities to do truly beautiful things with magic, spell-wise and architecturally. It seems like they faced copyright issues, but they could’ve taken that dead end as an opportunity to make the castle as magical as possible. There’s fountains that are supposed to appear magical but are moving in ways that hydraulics could function. Mermaids swimming around the fountain but you can see where they’re connected to the fountain on a mechanical arm? Copyright and budget constraints are the biggest downfall of this game, and maybe they rushed it out of the developing room. The story is pretty solid, and taking into account that my graphics are worse on an Xbox One: The castle feels off in an odd way. Huge opportunities missed to do truly beautiful things.The only parts that truly resemble Hogwarts are the floating staircases and (kinda) the common rooms.
