I feel like this game is getting a lot of hate for no reason. spoilers ahead: I think Joel dying in the beginning and Elle being a lesbian is why everyone is upset because if you look at it from purely game play the game is amazing. Not only are the graphics unrivaled, just the interactions with the enemy NPCs are an amazing improvement, now when you're in an area with a group of people looking for you they all have names, they cry out for their fallen friends, and if you beat someone to an inch of their life they'll crawl around and either beg for mercy or try holding a conversation until they bleed out. I also think the story (so far) is really good so this is easily a solid 5 outta 5 for me.
