The ending really touched my heart. His father was the town alcoholic, and after believing in Christ, he was able to forgive him. Which caused strongly stirred feelings in his father, causing him to ask "How could you forgive a father like me?". After hearing the Mcdowell's reply, he himself entrusted his life to the Lord. Beautiful read and this has definitely strengthened my faith, from being an Agnostic.
