I have read most of Kristin Hannah's books, and have to admit, this one I did not enjoy reading. I thought she lingered too much on the sand storms and the devastation the families lived through and to me, lost what could have been a more interesting storyline. I kept on reading hoping there would be a light at the end of the tunnel of doom...it just didn't happen.
