This movie try’s to be dark yet has no blood and the battle seems look really fake. Terribly writen diologe. Some very bad acting by the lead actress. Way worse than the original Disney classic. When the girl decides to go to battle she looks at a sword and then is shown in armor. In the original there is a very emotional scene where she cuts her hair. Puts on the armor. And takes the sword and is way better than this newer version. I do not recommend seeing this movie. The only redeeming quality is the production design which is kinda expected because it is a high budget movie. This movie is not just a bad remake but a bad movie in general. It is a movie that is only about 20 years old. It has aged well and does not need to be remade. The only reason it is being remade is because of money. Don’t waste your time on this movie. Instead go watch the original classic mulan Or basically anything else

A master piece, it is well directed, well acted, has a great script, is entertaining and has great characters. And will make you cry at some parts
