"what makes a monster and what makes a man?" This movie man. One word - Powerful. A powerful story, powerful lyrics and powerful questions. Not to mention the absolutely breathtaking animation. This movie possess some deep spiritual magic that is known only to a few films. Esmerelda is the stand out character here. Her green eyes shine bright as a focus of good, instead of evil ( like the Evil Queens green eyes, or Maleficents ) Not to mention her song is arguably the best out of the whole movie. It's a song that hits close to home, no matter who you are.

"Two worlds, one Family" While this story is not as complex as some other Disney movies (The Hunchback) or as character driven as Treasure Planet, Tarzan is still in my top list of Disney movies. I have always preferred the Tarzan story compared to the Jungle Book. Gorillas have always had such a near and dear place in my heart. The animation team portrayed the deep jungles of Africa beautifully. I would argue that the animation is better than the Lion King in its depth. ( I know, come at me) Finally - the music! while I love Beauty and the Beast and Lion King's music, I am a huge of fan of Phil Collins, and the music is such a grove. Phil really utilizes drums to mimic the rhythm of the jungle.

“Miss Daisy I am your driver.” What a movie, not a grand drama like goodwill hunting or even critically acclaimed. It’s just a simple story with an even simpler message that’s reminds us that sometimes the SMALLEST things take up the MOST room in our hearts. P.s Morgan Freshman alone is worth the watch.

Do you like slap stick comedy? Then this movie is pure gold. OR If your a Tim Curry fan you’ll love it to. HOWEVER, if you do not like both of those things - then this movie may not be for you. I say maybe because this movie is so funny and the ending is so cleaver I encourage you to try it.

Everyone has their favorite underrated childhood movie. If you have not seen Treasure Planet please do yourself a favor and see it. I would even recommend you buy it and not even rent it - YES it’s that Jaw Dropping Good. The animation will WOW you. The Music is on the LEVEL of John Williams. But MOST of all the characters are a layered as the Lion King. YES I just compared Treasure Planet to the Lion King. So please- enjoy.

“I love my wife and I love my life” In this modern world life seems way to fast paced. And Jerry Maguire reminds us joyfully that life is a dance not a job. This movie is well acted(arguably Toms best), down right funny, fast paced - yet well edited. But MOST of all it reminds us that happy endings come with a price (giving up something) and only a few are willing to pay.

“You can’t handle the truth!” - one of the most iconic lines ever. Wayyyyyyy before “I am Iron man”. But on the serious note, If you love law movies: this movie provides quite a unique take. Probably Cruise’s best role (although there are many other worthy contenders) HOWEVER, What makes the movie is the charm,Whitt, and the sting of the truth about the military.

I LOVE law movies and history movies. This has to be one of the best. However, it’s the message of this movie alone that is worth a viewing. The strong, well rounded characters, portrayed deeply by the actors. Fantastic script. It really shows how the south acted, but also how some would not look the other way. Truly a classic.

Do you like Criminals Minds? (The early days that is) then this movie is a delight. Sure it’s no Sev7n or Silence Of the Lambs, but it’s a good movie. Plus if your a Morgan Freeman fan than that’s a plus. His acting is what makes the movie.

Want a fantastic movie about race, Justice, and law? - Please watch A Time To Kill instead. Seriously, fantastic acting, great script, and even better message. However, The Hate You Give offers none of that. Don’t get me wrong, the idea was solid, but the execution failed. Characters are flat, bad script, and an unclear message. So please, go watch A Time To Kill.
