Disney is notorious for ruining sequels, but this was a win! They kept the whimsy of the first movie without killing the whole vibe of the film. I also adore that they kept everyone from the original cast! I genuinely enjoyed it!

This movie gave me hard Lifetime movie vibes. There were so many set ups with no payoff, very unrealistic aspects, and overall poor storyline. I knew the plot in the first few minutes, which is not a good thing given that the genre is "psychological thriller". They introduce a whole backstory with the detective and his missing daughter, but never go ANYWHERE with it. This also might be nitpicking, but Jen goes to bed wearing a full face of makeup and, at the end, is walking around with a limp and healing ankle injury in heels? Realistically, these things make no sense. The actors did their best, but the movie is a no for me.
