Serena Mitchell

I saw this film at the London Film Festival. It uses the standard horror techniques to frihht, but in a thoughtful plot that weaves in the horrors and generational traumas passed down in a society so long oppressed by colonial power, church power, that remains a superstitious society. I enjoyed the mythology and folk horror running through the plot.
