The use of strings makes this album unique. “Neighbourhood 4,” “Crown of Love,” “Rebellion Lies,” and “In the Backseat” are a perfect blend of orchestration and vocal work. As a whole, “Funeral” has potential in its beauty and lyrics. Definitely my personal favourite of Arcade Fire, and definitely underrated.

I usually don’t like electronic inspired songs that sound so autotune, but when it comes to Panic, they sure knew how to pull this off. Every song’s like dancing through a nostalgic trip to Vegas. Additional credit to Dallon Weekes for making this album with Brendon and Spencer. My personal favourite song is “The End of All Things” (Live). If you haven’t heard it, go listen to it on YouTube.

Found this band on Instagram where I heard their most popular hit “Blame Brett” and was instantly hooked. One of the best albums from a more newly Indie-Rock band. Every song’s a hit but my personal favourites is “Edge of the Earth” & “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Paranoid.” They definitely give out great live performances too.
