I usually don’t ever leave show review comments, but because I was forced to watch 10 episodes of this nonsensical story, I was compelled. This story had so many holes in it from beginning to (and especially) end. Mark boal is a great writer but he dropped the ball in this one for sure. Story made no sense whatsoever and I’d even go as far as to say it was a bit white savior esque and racist from a Latino perspective. 2 white soldiers get innocent Latino people killed to save a white woman, just so she doesn’t want to go home in the end? AFTER ALL THAT???? It had potential too. Like if they left it with Bambi moving forward with his infiltration plan, it might’ve made a way better story. Moving away from that, kidnapping the brother and blablabla, it over all was just way too much to throw into the mix just for all that not to work lmao. Wasted my time watching this but honestly there’s nothing you can do but laugh it off and never get sucked into a series like that again.
