The first three episodes of Ironheart are pretty good. I love the soundtrack, and the ties to Chicago. While so many of Marvel's titles seem to be shot on greenscreens and studios in Atlanta, it was nice to see Chicago take a front seat here. I also love this alternative perspective of Tony Stark. He has been worshipped for so long that I enjoyed the "he was a trust fund baby" argument, because it really helps color the perception of him by people in lower or middle class MCU America. I do think the flashback scenes have a filter that is tired/trite, and I wish we dove a little more into Riri's family dynamic. But overall, this is a great entry into the MCU with an exciting cast, great music, and a new take on the Stark legacy.

Delightfully shocked at how good the movie was. Now, it's not a home run by any means. However the acting was on point and the plot was better than alot of spy movies of the last decade. They set up for a sequel, and I hope it comes to fruition. After some of Simon K's recent blunders, this is a nice redemption flick. Plus, the ladies kick a**! Highly recommended for those who enjoy action, suspense, and lots of guns.
