Echoes is mediocre, ihmo. I watched the entire series hoping it would improve, but didn't. While the concept of identical twins switching places, with one being a psychpath, is a fantastic base for a film. The endless twists try satisfy mystery lovers, but does so much as to turned me into a frustrated mess. Understand, I love a good whodunit, with intelligent clues peppered for the viewer to feel that they are in the mind of Columbo or Holmes, this just seeks to torture the viewer. Up is down, and down is up in every minute. Instead of deftly tucking away clever revelations, the writer/director purposely makes it confusing. Also other characters (as in husbands of the sisters) seem to be clueless and unrealistic. I found it exhausting.
