I just finished this book and would recommend that you read it too! The author is very honest and brave in telling his incredible story. I chuckled, laughed and cried with him throughout the book, what a journey! Having an Indonesian background myself and knowing how the society still discriminates (and sometimes criminalised) the LGBTQIA+ community, I fear for the backlash he might receive from his family and friends in Indonesia if they read this book. I admire his courage to accept (and love) himself, to stop hiding and to show the world who he really is. Much love to you, Arozak.
