SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY!!!!! Oh my god, where to even begin! Well, let me just clarify that this game is definitely one of the easiest of 3D Mario because for starters, going back through the previous ones, you'll find the controls are trash but for this game, they're fine, but going back to the game's difficulty, I started using Assist Mode to step my skills up but once you do that, it's super hard to try out Regular Mode because for assistance, you die from falling off ledges, you have infinite air in water and you have more health, so basically, it just helps you speedrun more, so make sure to keep that in mind the whole way through. Also, going back to how I said this game is pretty easy anyway - it isn't like getting stars in Mario 64, this time you collect Power MOONS and there are so many of them. Around 2 thirds of them are fairly easy to get but that's not the point because speedrunning without the handicap is really satisfying too because the latest character is Cappy, the replacement to Mario's destroyed hat and you can throw, bounce off him for extra distance, side and back flip, long jump, dive, ground pound jump, TRIPLE jump, Mario literally has every move he's ever pulled off in the franchise, and using Cappy makes going quick so much fun, and the next mind blowing fact is that if you're bored of seeing Mario's classic red outfit, say hello to the Crazy Cap store which you can buy moons as well as so many unlockable costumes from, some required for EVEN MORE MOONS or DLC that reference adventures from other games, whether it's by paying the classic yellow coins or the different shaped purple coins found in each kingdom. Oh yeah, haven't even talked about the kingdoms. This is what they're called instead of worlds and while I won't go into detail to spoil you, I'll say that some of the themes are extremely rare ones in video games and will please you! So there you have it, the main things about this game that add so much more to the Mario series and the rest of the things are there waiting for you.
