I had never seen the original and made the mistake of thinking this would be a good adaptation. I have come to the conclusion that people with no talent for writing should not be permitted to rewrite classics. The build up makes no sense since its all based on a lie and the ending just seems like the writers trying to force in police brutality when the situation is a little more complicated. If a police officer walks in and sees a man with a hook in his hand who appears to be suffering a possible disease that may be contagious moving menacingly toward a woman i would hope they would have this reaction. The threat on the female of incarceration if she doesnt agree with there story is ignorant and would have been unnecessary as there was plenty of reasoning for the officer to open fire. Well done you have written an unsatisfying garbage story while telling yourselves your clever. It would have been far better if the original candyman had been wrongfully killed especially with all the time spent tryin to make the audience sympathetic towards him.

You all are untalented hacks. You cant make anything good apparently you only have the power to pervert and destroy everything you touch. This show is a disgusting excuse for more LOTR content. You have massacred so many characters in your attempt at entertainment. You have made nothing of value and i hope that 200 years from now it vanishes from existance so that it doesnt tarnish LOTR or Tolkiens name. I try not to wish ill on others but after seeing what you have done to such a beloved work i truly hope you all never find work again. Sauron crying! Pathetic.

Disney you dont know anything about star wars stop making star wars. You have killed all the fans now the only people that watch your shows are people you pay to do it.
