The NY Times reviewer must be a jaded individual to give the review this movie received. It's quiet and for those of us who have fewer years ahead of us than behind, it is encouraging and in a way inspiring. It could be a better executed film and in spite of its shortcomings or "treacly" moments it communicates will power, strength, stubbornness, uncertainty, fear.. emotions felt by the majority and in this case, by the elder. A good watch.
