❗MILD SPOILER REVIEW❗ I think this was a solid movie, it's obviously made with the current generation in mind but balances the pop culture references well. All the of the turtles are pretty likable and I found their banter humerous. The animation style is incredibly unique and was a breath of fresh air, I think it complimented the character design of all the animals; however, in my opinion the humans are terrifying to look at. It's an interesting stylistic choice but with the few exceptions (April) the humans are just plain ugly. The main plotline left a little to be desired but was overall a solid story and the open end for a sequel leaves more excitement. The scene where they break in all the mob hideouts is especially well done, and the music chosen throughout the film is usually complimentary. Overall, I think the younger generations will adore this movie but it's well worth a watch for any aged fan.
