Going to the cinema on the premise that anything Hunger Games would be good and knowing nothing of the book or plot I was incredibly disappointed. I spent most of the film wondering what the hell was going on. The scenes were a pastiche of disjointed scenarios that made me think theres was too much detail in the book to get across. Viola Davis was so miscast and over the top. For die hard fans only, so bad on many levels
