Truly a master piece. When I think of Nicholas Cage with a driven narrative about a pig, I don't think this is going to be the best movie I've seen in a very long time...yet it was.
This movie is excellent but I catch myself wondering if it's elevated by the time that it was made. For example I dropped The Witcher 3 after a couple of hours, and it wasn't until years later that I picked it up and became enthralled. See I think this was a product of having so much trash released that I didn't know what I had originally.
This movie doesn't seem particularly bold or risky for any other time period, but yet today after watching it, well that's how I would describe it.
