When novels are adapted into movies, the most difficult step is casting because of the sentiments of millions of fans. Each fan imagines the main characters in their own way, making it tough to meet everyone's expectations. However, in this case, director Michael Showalter nailed it by casting Ann as Solene and Nic as Hayes. Their chemistry is like a breath of fresh air. Even though the storyline is a traditional tale of an older woman falling for a younger man, their dynamic made it very special. I would give this movie 8 points because it truly is amazing. Kudos to the team and everyone behind and in front of the camera!
