If God gave me chance to ask anything I'd ask nothing but to make this serial a reality and me a part of it(Nothing could be better than Suraj) so that I could serve the couple. Diya Aur Bati Hum is the only and my favourite Sas bahu serial I love the most.I was around 11 years old when this serial began but at that time we didn't have color television, so I started watching it in 2012 or so. I could never finished it. I've watched it till the 9th season I reckon.One of the strongest reasons I love this serial is the couple, I don't believe in God but for me Sandhya and Suraj was like God incarnated.No obscenity only unconditional love which transcends physical reality.It is very hard for me to watch the serial after Sandhya became an IPS officer because after that this serial got ruined.
