Kind of disappointing...the trailer looked SO good and we've loved so many other James Wan movies. The Conjuring series is one of my very favorite. But this one just fell short. It felt more like a cheesy slasher film -- that's just not my jam and not what was anticipated based on the trailer we watched. The plot line felt muddy and underdeveloped. Not the worst scary movie I've ever seen by far, but definitely not the best.
