M27 UNDERGROUND

This movie was a flop in the eyes of critics, but a success to those who cherish art deco / post ww2 movies / jazz / and most of all Newww Yyyooorrkkkkkk!!!! From what I read, everything about this movie was outlandish and overtop..even in their wardrobes. Supposedly all the ties are custom made to be an inch wider on each side, the shoulder pads were an inch taller, and even collars where extended. This gives the movie an overall cartoon tone, reminiscent of Ralph Bakshi animated features. Like a Disney movie for adults.
