I wanted to like this show since I'm a Resident Evil fan, but I found it terrible. I wasn't concerned as to how close this was to the game or movies. The show in itself was bad even if it was an original. In every episode, I felt so frustrated at how reckless and stupid Jade and Billie are (teen and adult versions). They were sooooo annoying. I couldn't root for the main character. The CEO and employees did not give that evil Umbrella vibe because they were too dumb. The facility had no security whatsoever so teenage girls can sneak in. The only part of the show that I liked was Lance Reddick (Albert Wesker). He's a great actor.
