A superb and brilliant account of the punk scene in London in the, 70's written from a refreshingly female perspective by one of the people who was at the very forefront and pretty much, centre stage. Viv Albertine's writing style is highly readable and she details her career and the sexism and hostility she and the rest of, The Slits encountered during the era. Well worth reading for anyone interested in that particular era of musical history.
A superb brilliantly written and sparingly honest book. Not always an easy read but well worth the effort, the complexities of family relationships is laid uncomfortably out for all to see.
