The theory of the show is good but it is full of prejudice and colourism. Why has this shown been sold as matching making for millennials - when it’s full of negative out of date values on being divorced and having a ‘fair skinned bride’ Ankita is a beautiful intelligent girl however she’s basically called ugly- anyone with eyes can see she’s a beauty. If she has fair skin would she be a prize bride? There wasn’t one wedding on this show so I’m unsure how it can be called match making. I’m disappointed Netflix has allowed this kind of prejudice to be shown.
