Loosely based on the captivating Last Stop To Larrimah, this comedy/mystery caper is full of absurdity, humour and heart. I wasn't sure it would work at the start, but the plot became more complex and clever and mysterious and bingeable by episode 5. The contrast between Ben Feldman's clean-cut city chic and the rough, eccentric townsfolk actually worked! Give this show a chance and Stan, please bring a second season.

A joyous read, with LOL moments galore, and a load of warmth and wisdom. I finished this in 2 nights because it was just so riveting! So impressed with this novel, especially given my scepticism of novels written by comedians (sorry James, I wasn't too faniliar with your work), having been disappointed with books written by Aussie comedians (whom I will not name). This is a book I will no doubt gift to reader friends to share the love.
