this album to ME can be reflected into one word repetitive and boring so lets talk about why?
Sabrina Carpenter’s short n sweet attempts a more mature direction, but it ends up being a repetitive, uninspired mess. The album feels like a collection of the same song over and over, with no real variation or emotional depth. While Sabrina has a strong voice, the forced sexualization of her image feels out of place and detracts from her true talent. Jack Antonoff, known for his signature production style, did her no favors here—his production feels lazy and uninspired, leaving Sabrina’s potential untapped. Instead of a breakthrough, the album feels like a misstep, overhyped and ultimately forgettable.
