Beautiful scenery. I was in absolute awe over how much Houston has changed in 37 years. I absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking for a laid-back type of movie.

I was a little confused with the book so I stopped reading very early on. I watched the mini series and now I think I’m ready to fill in the gaps with what the book has. It’s not much of a spoiler for me. If anything, it will kind of give me a face to the characters and their personalities. The acting was fantastic and the ominous and anxious atmosphere made it very alluring to keep watching.

The music really captures your attention. My 16 month old baby girl becomes hypnotized by Joe Gardner’s piano playing. I really love the inspiration Joe gives as a mentor/teacher/musician. Absolutely loved this movie. 22 is basically all of us until we find something that gives us that spark in our life.

Definitely a tear jerker! Don’t get it twisted, it has plenty of fight scenes.

Such memorable and loving characters. I know this is show, but I feel like I love these wonderful people as family. Despite the drama, they still held such an amazing bond and stood to fight through so many trials and tribulations throughout the years. I’m still learning everyday about the LBGTQIA+ community and I will never stop learning. These human beings deserve all our love and acceptance. What an amazing ending to a great show. My heart goes out to the people in this world and in the next who have been hated, killed or hurt by the ignorance of this world. Don’t ever stop fighting for your right to be here in this world. I know I won’t.

The second time I watched this, I cried. Understanding more and more how there are people in this world suffering from mental illnesses and neurological disorders and we treat them like nothing or even worst ignore them. A person can only hold in so much pain. Please learn to be kinder and teach your children to stop bullying those that are different from them. We need less apathy in this world.

Such an underrated movie. Toni Collette is such an amazing actress. Rachel Griffith is also awesome. Such a funny movie
