Amazing performances by all, but especially Bryan Cranstron. I was thinking it would be predictable and it is anything but. This is a movie you have to pay attention to and not get up for a commercial break. Background on the main characters’ relationships and history is revealed slowly and usually is surprising. The addition of the Marine who accompanies the gang is refreshing and I really liked the character, and the actor. Not your usual tear jerker, but I admit I was moved to “sniffles” by the final few scenes. If you can find an hour or two of uninterrupted time, try it on your favorite streaming service. Not for kids. (language)
