Absolutely my favorite animated show of all time. Carol having to deal with the end of the world, and what that means for her personally, is just perfect. She wants to live like she did before a strange planet started hurtling towards earth, but everything is too different. Enter mysteriously well dressed woman, suit and everything. Carol follows her to a perfectly functioning office, printing papers and everything. Before she can question whether shes in the past or a different universe, she's given a badge and a job and she's working. over the course of the show carol forms many friendships and we get to see the show from their point of view, as well as a father and son going on one last road trip together, carols elderly parents and their nurse going on a romantic cruise, an off season christmas full of regrets, and a reconciliation with a sibling. if i could, if give 6 stars. This show WILL change your life, or at least how you see the world.
